About
My name is Thomas Rajji, I am the founder and main composer of simulatedtones.
I possess over a decade of experience in the music industry and my musical journey began at the age of 10, where I started learning classical guitar.
In 2015, I decided to record my three-piece math rock band without breaking the bank so I enrolled in an audio engineering course at a reputable studio in Ottawa, where I spent several months working on diverse projects. Subsequently, my passion for the technical aspects of music production prompted me to establish my first home studio where I started delving into sound design and music production techniques while creating my original music.
After a considerable amount of experimentation, I developed a fondness for various music genres and styles, which led me to work with a diverse range of artists and eventually launch simulatedtones offering customized audio solutions for content creators and business owners.
Over the years, I have designed and built multiple studios out of passion for gear and music technology for myself and for a few friends and clients. (Photos of the studios I built)
During the process I had the opportunity to work in both analog and digital environments however my primary preference for music making remains digital and I work completely in-the-box. (Check out my blog: Analog vs Digital). Occasionally I will record with high-end hardware in larger studios, depending on the project's requirements.
